An iPad application to complement an online portal. It is meant to discover / upload & share creative talents in the music industry. It has an kick-ass back-end system to support the whole process.
This is primarily a menu application which showcases the flip page animation with finger tracking, sadly it did not go live due to change in management but it was fun to create.
One of the most exciting project we have worked on. It had feature after feature and we were faced with a challenge to create a stable structure for it, but we did it in an elegant manner providing more flexibility than the client ordered, which was a good thing.
We have worked constantly on this project for around 6 months and got to know a lot of energy simulations. We implemented the online portal for energy simulation as well as build an automated service that runs the simulation in an automated manner 24x7 in a cloud environment.
The brief given to us for this project was "keep it clean & simple", took us some time and lots of client interaction but eventually nailed the brief
An online portal for the CCOP community in Canada to come together and coordinate on issues affecting our environment. With lots of communication features like blogs, calendar events, etc. It turned out to be a great tool for coordination.
An Android based application to act as a dashboard for visualizing data that is fetched from a back-end server. Had to overcome lots of server lags and network conditions to make it a robust application.
This application single-handedly gave us first hand experience on why developing for Blackberry devices is such a pain, but despite the challenge we got it working across multiple Blackberry devices.
All video streaming applications are unique and this was no different, had to implement dynamic bit-rate algorithm and successfully put in place 'n' number of network checks for speeds, disconnections, etc. and made it work as it's expected.
One of the application we felt actually had an potential to attract large user base. Developing it in iOS and Android simultaneously we got an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced in cross-platform development.
